The duck feather filling feels fluffy and gives your body excellent support. The cushion is ideal to use when you read in bed as it covers your entire back. Recommended for indoor use only. Tumble dry after washing until the filling is completely dry. Machine wash warm (max 140°F/60°C) normal cycle. Use 1/3 of the normal amount of detergent when washing. Tumble dry, medium, normal cycle. Do not dry clean. These inner cushions are nice for looking like a cushion, but provide absolutely no structural support if you lean against them. They completely flatten out. It would be better if they had a more rigid core. 20x20 pillow covers for the 26x26 inserts just to get some volume. I’ve tried to air these out, but they absolutely reek like wet dog/barnyard. I can smell them across the room it’s so bad. It is my mistake to get this pillow without reading the tag. It has duck feather filling which causes an itchy texture. I followed the washing instruction and even used cold wash. Horrible smell. Both washing machine and dryer had this disgusting smell because of this pillow. I threw it out immediately. Not at all what I expected. I was disappointed with this product. It has a strong industrial chemical smell that hasn't dissipated, even after airing it out. Additionally, the material is surprisingly thin and doesn't fully fill out the cushions, leaving them looking under-stuffed and feeling less supportive than anticipated.
