Path of Exile Item Upgrading

Components

Upgrade components are the items that make your weapons and armor more effective. The primary function of upgrade components is to enable an item to be upgraded, however, they also serve other purposes. They can be stacked to boost the value of an upgradeable item upgrade, or they can be used to boost the experience gained by upgrading an existing weapon or piece of gear.
