World of Warcraft Upgrades and Item Upgrading

Upgrades increase the value of certain numeric statistics on armor, weapons and rings. Upgrades also increase bonuses such as crit chance and PvE Damage.

If the template for upgrading a weapon is %, it will be able to gain 3% of its previous attack damage each time it is upgraded.

Components

Upgrade components can be added to weapons, armor and trinkets in order to give them a boost in stats or add a bonus effect. These can be obtained by crafting, purchasing from vendors or trading with other players, or looting. Some upgrades can also be accompanied by special cosmetic effects.

Upgrade components are only available to equipment that has a slot. The item must be at least upgraded to blue level before the component can be used. Unlike other mods, upgrade components can only be used once; they cannot be applied repeatedly or replaced by new upgrades. Infusions and Enrichments are a type of upgrade component used to upgrade non-amulet legendary and Ascended equipment, as well as some non-ascended items. Infusions and enrichments can be recovered by salvaging gear that is ascended or completing an elite mission in the Prophecies, Factions and Nightfall campaigns.

An upgrade may have a prefix or suffix changing the name of the equipment with which it is used (for examplethe "Canthan Armor Insignia' becomes Canthan Armor of Minor Vigor). Some upgrades boost an item's Mark Level, or Rarity, allowing players create stronger versions of that equipment with less Upgrade Crystals than would be required to reach the same upgrade level through normal methods.

A boost upgrade can change the attack or defense attributes of the weapon or armor. Once the player has completed the cutscene and defeated Crazed Mechanist, these upgrades can be crafted at the Portative Forging Station. These upgrades can be purchased by purchasing them from the cash shop, or by obtaining them from enemies when upgrading other gear.

Each upgrade increases the likelihood that a higher tier version of the item will be revealed in the next reset. This gives players a reason to upgrade their gear, even when they're not sure what can be improved upon an update.

The process of upgrading an item could be costly and it is likely that the item will eventually become obsolete or even break if the upgrade is unsuccessful. Upgrade Crystals and assist powders are also destroyed when the upgrade fails. This is mitigated by the availability of cash shop items to double or even eliminate possibility of failure, as well as a few upgrades that give an additional benefit when they are inserted into an item.

Glyphs

Glyphs can be used to enhance the Paragon Board by placing them in sockets that are specifically designed for. Glyphs boost the power of nodes within a radius, including any pre-existing attaches. Glyphs can be upgraded in numerous ways. We suggest upgrading them as soon as possible up to 15 levels.

It is commonplace to see in the endgame that putting Glyphs is the Best item upgrade way to upgrade your gear. These are the only upgrade components that can be upgraded up to level 15 and offer significant boosts to your power on the Paragon Board.

The majority of upgrades in the game can be replaced, however Glyphs are the one upgrade component that can be removed and re-placed without restriction. The only exception is legendary equipment that requires an Black Lion Salvage Kit to salvage and then re-install.

The value of each Glyph is displayed when you choose it in your inventory. You can replace it with a Glyph that is the same or higher rank to boost the value of the Glyph.

Glyphs can be found in the Black Lion Trading Post as part of a Gem Store bundle or purchase, with certain unlimited-use tools, and during Faction Crypt Raids. Every Faction Crypt has the chance of dropping one of the numerous Glyphs, and there are some rare Glyphs that can be found as drops from any of the four Faction Crypts.

After you have acquired the desired Glyphs you will require them to be put on your gear. Each Glyph unlocks a unique bonus that boosts the stats of a particular set of nodes within a radius around the Glyph. This will either be +40 for one of your primary stats, or +25 for two of your secondary stats, based on the Glyph.

Glyphs increase the number of nodes connected to them, which is why it is recommended to place Glyphs in the most important spots on the Graph. This will maximize the impact. For example, a Druid should aim to place their Glyphs near their primary damage nodes, however, you may also want to think about placing them near crucial damage nodes, too.

Leveling

The item upgrading system lets players increase the effectiveness of certain items by placing upgraded components in them. This is often referred to as "upping". Each upgradeable item comes with a level that determines its final upgraded stats. Upgraded items are able to be leveled up to a maximum of ilvl 385. Each item level requires different components, and the cost of upgrading increase with each level.

Certain upgrades require a specific ingredient to activate. This ingredient is obtained by finishing Upgrade Recipes. These recipes can be found in the upgrade tab of a crafting table, or bought from NPCs. Each Upgrade Recipe completed will result in a certain amount of Technology points. These points can be used to level the item upgrade, and once enough points have been earned, the upgrade item can be claimed and its additional bonuses will be added to the item.

When an individual player upgrades a piece of equipment the original item will be replaced with a new item. This means that the same piece of armor will be transformed into an weapon or shield once upgraded. The new item will have a unique bonus. This could be a drawback because it can cause the item to become more expensive, even if you don't require it.

The upgrades to items can be rerolled, provided that the player has enough tokens in order to do this. This will cause the item to be exchanged for a new one, which will have an initial level and a different set of bonus bonuses. This is useful for certain items, but it's not something that should be done regularly, as it could waste many resources.

Certain upgrades can increase their value, allowing players to customize their gear. A good example of this is Dolphin's Gift, which gives a buff when the player repeatedly enters and exits water (or does not swim as a dolphin). It is possible to upgrade it several times, each time raising the maximum roll by 10 points. This item is very important in PvP. A perfectly rolled version can be worth as much as 50x the value of its non-upgraded counterpart.

Requirements

Failures will cause the item to revert back to its original state, requiring the player to spend more materials than they would had they stopped upgrading at the maximum number of upgrades.

If an item isn't upgraded, the experience bar in its growth bar will be reset to zero. The item will also lose any bonuses it has gained like crit chance attack damage, other effects (such as a higher healing rate over time, or the speed of reloading). However, the player may still continue to use the weapon or armor following the failure.

When an item is upgraded the upgrades are applied from the lowest to highest. This means that the weapon that is upgraded receives a crit chance boost it will be applied before any damage from attacks increases. Slots is a brand-new attribute that has been added to item definitions. The value is calculated each time an upgrade occurs.

The amount of resources needed to upgrade an item is based on the rarity rating and number of upgrade slots. The cost of upgrading equipment that is not premium is equal to its value. For example an item that is commonplace could have five upgrades at a cost. 25600 Technology Points 4x Quality Improvement Opportunity. Hero quality items are less expensive per upgrade.

Premium items have different requirements for upgrading as compared to standard equipment, for instance, they might require fewer sowels, but they will require more minerals and erons. Players will still have to carry every piece of equipment they wish to upgrade to the NPC [ArmorBoboko. Boboko located in Central Flarine. Each equipment upgrade will require different amounts of upgrade ingredients in addition to the expenses listed above.
