World of Warcraft Upgrades and Item Upgrading

Upgrades can boost the value of armors, weapons and rings. They also boost extra bonuses like crit chance and PvE damage.

For example a weapon that has the upgrade template ending in % will gain an attack damage of 3% each time it is upgraded (relative to its previous value).

The cost of upgrading an item is determined by the item's level. The cost increases as the item level rises.

Components

Upgrade components can be incorporated into weapons, armor and trinkets in order to give them a boost in stats or add a bonus effect. They can be obtained by crafting, buying from vendors trading, or looting. Some upgrades can also be accompanied by special cosmetic effects.

Upgrade components can be placed in equipment that has a slot to accommodate them; the item must be at a minimum upgraded to blue level in order for the component to be used. In contrast to other mods components can only be used one time; they cannot be applied multiple times or Item Upgrade replaced with new upgrades. Infusions and enrichments are a particular kind of upgrade component that is that is used to upgrade non-amulet ascended or legendary equipment as well as the back items that are not ascending. Enrichments and Infusions can be obtained by salvaging equipment that is ascended or completing a quest in the Prophecies, Factions, and Nightfall campaigns.

An upgrade may include a suffix or prefix that alters the name of the item to which it is applied (for instancefor example "Canthan Armor Insignia" becomes Canthan Armor of Minor Vigor). Certain upgrades can increase the Mark Rarity or Level of an item, allowing players to create stronger versions of the item using less Upgrade crystals than they would need to reach the same level using normal methods.

A 'boost' upgrade can alter the attack or defence attributes of a weapon, or armor. These upgrades can be made from the Portative Forging Station once the player has completed the cutscene and defeats the Crazed Mechanical. These upgrades are available for purchase them from the cash shop or by collecting them from enemies when upgrading other equipment.

The player is able to have the maximum of five boost upgrades at a time; each upgrade increases the likelihood that a better-quality version of the item will appear during the next reset. This gives the player some incentive to continue improving their equipment, even if they're unsure of how much it will improve after a future reset.

Whether a boost upgrade is successful or not, the process could be expensive, and there is a substantial chance that the item could be obsolete or even break if it fails. A failure to upgrade can cause the destruction of Upgrade Crystals and Assist Powder as well as the upgraded item. Cash shop items can be used to decrease or eliminate the chance of failure. Some upgrades also offer an additional bonus when reinserted.

Glyphs

Glyphs are upgrade item elements that can be placed in special sockets on the Paragon Board. Glyphs boost the effectiveness of all nodes in their radius and include pre-existing affixes to equipment. Glyphs can be upgraded in various ways, and we suggest getting them to level 15 as soon as you can.

In the final game, you will often find that the most effective way to upgrade your gear is to place Glyphs. They are the only upgrade component that can be upgraded straight to level 15, and they provide an enormous boost to your power and radius on the Paragon Board, enabling you to climb higher nodes faster.

The majority of upgrades in the game can be replaced however Glyphs are the one upgrade component that can be removed and replaced without restrictions. The only exception is legendary equipment that requires the use of a Black Lion Salvage Kit to salvage and then re-install.

The value of each Glyph is displayed when you select it from your inventory. You can replace it with another Glyph that is of the same or higher rank to increase the value of the Glyph.

You can find Glyphs in the Black Lion Trading Post, as part of a Gem Store purchase or bundle with certain gathering tools that are unlimited-use as well as through Faction Crypt raids. Each Faction Crypt can drop one of these Glyphs. There are also some rare glyphs you can find in any of the Faction Crypts.

Once you have gotten the desired Glyphs you'll need them to be placed on your gear. Each Glyph unlocks a unique bonus that will boost the stats of a specific set of nodes in a radius surrounding the Glyph. It can be +40 for one of your primary stats, or +25 for two of your secondary stats, based on the Glyph.

Glyphs increase the number of nodes connected to them, which is why it is recommended to place Glyphs in the most important locations on the Graph. This will increase the impact. For instance an Druid should try to position their Glyphs near their primary damage points, but you should also be sure to place them near the most critical damage nodes, too.

Leveling

The item upgrade system allows players to boost the power of certain items by inserting upgraded components. This is known as "upping". Every upgradeable item is assigned a level that determines the final stats. Upgraded items may be leveled up to a maximum level of 385. Each level of an item requires a different number of components to reach, and the upgrade costs increase as the item gets upgraded.

Certain upgrades require a certain ingredient to activate. This ingredient is obtained from the completion of Upgrade Recipes. These recipes can be bought from NPCs, or on the upgrade tab of crafting tables. Each Upgrade Recipe that is completed earns several Technology Points. These points can be used to level the item. Once enough points have been earned, the upgrade can be claimed and any additional bonuses will be added to the item.

When the player upgrades an item to a higher level, the original item is replaced by a new item of the same kind. This means that the same piece of armor will be transformed into a weapon or shield when upgraded. The new item comes with its own set bonus. This could be a drawback in that it could cause the item to become more expensive, even if you don't need it.

Item upgrades can sometimes be rerolled, provided that the player has enough tokens in order to do this. The item will be replaced by the same item, but it has a base of level 1 and totally different bonuses. This can be useful but it shouldn't be done often as it can waste resources.

Certain upgrades can boost their value, allowing players to customize their equipment. Dolphin's Gift is a good example, since it grants an increase in power if the player is repeatedly in or leaves the water. It is possible to upgrade it several times, each time raising the maximum roll by a factor of 10. This item is extremely important in PvP. A well-rolled version can be worth up to 50x the value of a non-upgraded counterpart.

Requirements

The ability to upgrade items allows players to boost the level of their equippable equipment--armor, weapons, and trinkets that are above ilvl 385 by presenting the appropriate items and currency to an item upgrader NPC. Upgrades to armor set pieces also boost the defense base of the piece, whereas upgrading weapon items will increase the base damage as well as the required strength and dexterity to meet the upgraded equipment's requirements.

All items can be upgraded a maximum of five times, with the exception of hero gear which can be upgraded with eight upgrades. Each time you upgrade an object, it is at risk of failing. The failure rate increases as you go over the maximum number. Failures can result in the item reverting to its initial state and the player having to spend additional resources than if they had stopped upgrading after the maximum amount.

If an item does not upgrade, the amount of accumulated experience in its growth bar is reset to zero. The item upgrader mod also loses any bonuses it gained, such as crit chance attack damage, additional effects (such as an increase in healing over time, or the speed of reloading). However, the user can continue to use the weapon or armor following the failure.

When an item is upgraded, the upgrades are applied in order from lowest to highest. This means that, when a weapon gains an increase in crit chance, item upgrade the increase is applied before any increase in attack damage. Slots is a brand-new attribute that has been added to the definitions of items. The value is recalculated each time an upgrade occurs.

The amount of resources required to upgrade an item is based on the rarity rating and the number of upgrade slots. The cost for upgrading non-premium items is equal to the base value of the upgrade. For example, a common equipment item may have five upgrades, each costing 25600 Technology Points 4x Quality Improvement Opportunity. Hero quality items are less expensive per upgrade.

Premium items have different requirements for upgrading in comparison to standard equipment. For instance, they might require fewer sowels, but more minerals and erons. The player will need to bring every piece of gear they wish to upgrade to NPC [Armor] Boboko located in Central Flarine. In addition to the upgrade costs listed above, each equipment upgrade will require the use of different ingredients for upgrading.
