Parents are shifting away from traditional girl names and choosing to give their daughters male monikers instead.

According to a recent report from name consultant Colleen Slagen, gender neutral names are on the rise.

In recent years, the concept of girl and boy names has been turned upside down as moms and dads have been opting to give their daughters classic male names like Drew, Noah and Dylan.

Speaking to the New York Post, Colleen revealed that she has received a slew of requests for 'true boy names' for girls.

She noted that in addition to bringing a sense of uniqueness into the family, girls given male monikers are also more likely to become billionaires.

Colleen told the outlet that a likely trend for 2025 babies is something known as 'My Best Friend's Dad' baby names.

The pro added: 'I think we'll start seeing more traditional male names being chosen for girls such as Drew, Noah and Dylan.'

Colleen - who teamed up with nursery retailer JoJo Maman Bebe - noted that the new study shows that moms and dads don't want to assign their babies traditional girl monikers anymore.

'I used to get a lot of requests for gender-neutral names that lean feminine. However, now I get more and more requests for true boy names for girls,' she explained.

The moniker expert also revealed which boy names people were likely to see being given to girls.

She noted that the names Scottie, Tommie, Markie, Mickey, and Billie were all going to become popular.

Colleen also dished out which monikers were plummeting out of popularity.

She explained that parents were no longer using the names Linda, Kathy, Karen, Gary and Bob.

'The same can be said for millennial names like Tiffany, Caitlin, Courtney, Greg, and Jeff,' Colleen told the outlet.

The baby girls with boy monikers are also said to be blessed with luck and fortune as people with classic boy names are more likely to get rich.

According to a study by SEO expert Julian Goldie, babies with the names Thomas and Mark may see major funds in their future.

'These classic biblical names claim the top spots for billionaire frequency, perhaps suggesting there's something special about these timeless choices,' the report stated.
