Let's talk about the home business opportunity niche. I remember a couple years ago niche marketing became a hot topic on the Internet. This came about because so many of the broad based theme opportunities were becoming very crowded.

Forget about trying to make money in porn, gambling, or kontol even Internet marketing. If you google search the words "work at home" you are going to find some very established websites you would be competing against as well.

This is not to say you have to stay away from anything you have an interest in. It is important that you focus on a targeted niche if you want to be successful and make money from home.

I consider myself to be a fairly seasoned Internet marketer. I know that if I jump into a broad theme it is going to take me longer to make money. However, if I find a targeted in niche, that does not have as many people promoting in it, my chances of making money go way up.

The home business niche is a very broad phrase to consider. However, if you want to zero in on something that's a little more targeted, consider promoting a home business opportunity that helps people start their own online home business.

This makes a lot of sense to me and is actually how I got started nine years ago. This works well because it targets a very basic principle.

"You can have everything you want in life, if you help enough other people get what they want" according to Zig Ziglar. I love this quote for people in the home business arena who are looking for a niche to get into.

The actual marketing you are targeting is the people that are looking to make money exactly like you are. If you enjoy working with people this is a great way to get started.

Even if you do not want to deal with people directly you can set up systems to help people get started. Many of the quality home business opportunities today actually do all of this for you.

1. You need a good program.

2. It must have a good follow-up system for new prospects.

3. It must provide training for it's members to maintain a high retention rate.

There are many opportunities available online just like this. You can Google search the words "online home business" and start looking at some of the results.



It's important that the opportunity is capturing names and email addresses for future follow up. One thing you can do is set up your own landing page and build your own list before passing people through to your primary business opportunity.

Most of us do not want to spend a lot of time doing training because we are focused on marketing the opportunity itself. For this reason make sure the home business opportunity provides good training in the form of archived webinars, a discussion forum, and a support email contact system.

If you focus on helping people get what they want as a way to make money this can be very rewarding for you. This is a real home business opportunity niche to get into if you are not sure how you want to get started making money.
