Find 1 Million Recipe Shots
In May 2021, after four years of work, we completed the creation of one million food shots using past culinary captures. We utilized over 70 different natural wood grain patterns, along with techniques such as paintbrush strokes, splattering, layering with dough, crackling, tile craftsmanship, hanji (traditional Korean paper) crafts, shading design with CNC carving machines, molding with various wood species, and hand controller brush touches. We combined these diverse methods and materials to create backgrounds, which were then synthesized with the food shots. By incorporating various lighting setups, filtering, and designs, we expanded the range of choices when selecting a single shot, offering dozens of different atmospheres.
